We are frequently asked, “How did you come up with the name Dr. Qwak Qwak’s™?” It was the loving, yet sarcastic term of endearment my cantankerous grandmother used to call my father when he was in medical school. Because that name was so far from the truth and since we come from a long line of teasers, my dad was a prime target for some good razzing. And once we find a good nickname, what can I say? It sticks, whether you like it or not.

Our products are inspired by the aches and pains of my family, so naming the business was a family affair. We took into consideration every aspect of what we were trying to accomplish; specifically to promote humor as a tool for healing - because it’s just as much about having a positive mental attitude as it is about taking care of your body. Since my dad embodies the balance of humor and compassion in his practice, and it’s such a wonderfully cheeky nickname, the answer was clear and Dr. Qwak Qwak’s™ was born.
